we are so sheltered in North America that we hear only canuck, yankee or limey music...kind of sucks. I have been combing YT for new material and this is a song I found last night. It's just amazing

anthemic? don't know, will need to think about it.
there are several russian groups that i totally love and have been their fan for ages, but i seriously doubt if the definition "anthemic" can be applied to them.

thirst of all, lets agree on definitions.

been listening to a lot of Euro music since I got home this evening. Some of it is not any better than the nonsense I have to listen to every day but then there are some songs that put our stuff to shame. It's an eye opener as far as music is concerned

The song's called Motherland. The singer is Yuri Schevchuk - the one who had the guts to stand against our clown of the president (former-cum-future one), when the latter was stupid enough to pretend not to know who this musician was. :biggrin:
