London has thus far built some beautiful structures for next years Summer Olympics.
The problems I foresee for this Olympic are as follows:
1. Based on a recent document on the most expensive cities for tourists, London was number 3. This wil surely rise next year as hotels et al will raise their rates based on accomodation. The average tourist will not be able to afford a week in London especially now.
2. Traffic. The city can't shut down for the Olympics. Beijing used their military to enforce drivers to take alternative modes of transport. Will London do the same? Economically, can London afford 2 weeks vacation?
3. Rain. Seems stupid to add this but aside from a couple of recent years that saw limited rainfall, that is not always the case
Average High: 75°F (24°C)
Average Low: 57°F (14°C)
Average wet days: 12 days
Although July and August are the warmest months they are also the wettest - expect showers!
Average daily sunshine: 7 hours
