With Jezzer and Nicey and Hamlet departed , are there any Euro Football fan freaks left , apart from Hoppy , Sapristi and self ?
With England now on route to World Cup success thanks to a new and good General ( he can't be 100% Italian because the two words --- General and Italian just don't go together ), and Chelsea likely to dominate the Champion-s League , do we need to find ways of broadening the game ?
How many teams will go bankrupt in the next few months ?
Should France be excused further public matches until they can find a new manager and some players ?
Any other news and views ?

Scotland has a difficult game today against Norway and what was really funny about the England match is Kazakstan has 17 players who have never played for the country before....got to give England a 3-0 handicap before even trying to suggest how many are going in the Kazzy net.

Spain-Estonia
Not so much interesting match, even for Estonian.
Yesterday, while training session, spanish team had more estonian supporters than Estonia team. :becky:

Can Celtic hang on ?
My feeling is that the present team is not very good and without Artur Boruc , the Polish keeper , the team could be out of the first two in the Scottish League .
I am amaazed he has not been picked up for a Champion's League team ( one with a chance ) or for a Premier English side .
This 6 foot 4 inches Giant holds Celtic together and has repeatedly helped Poland to results it frankly does not deserve .
What happens when Boruk leaves, Hoppy , which I think could be after Xmas when Celtic will effectively be out of the CL .

And in La Liga ,
Will Marcos Senna leave Villareal for Manchester United ?
This Brazilian looks very classy but will V let him go ?
Presently they have made a tremendous start to the season but will big money talk ?
What's the whisper , Sapristi ?

Manchester need one more class player to take on Chelsea .
The wonderful Giggs and Scholes are no longer in the super class that is required .

Looks like Celtic are up for a thrashing on Tuesday when they visit Manchester .
Get your money on Chelsea for the Champions League .
All the four top seeds --- the English Clubs --- are stronger than last year for a variety of different reasons .
But Chelsea under Scolari are shaping to be the best ever European side . By the same token look at Portugal without Scolari --- not in the same league .
Look at Scotland under Burley . Not shaping up well, though the Rangers lad( Doyle ? ) seems to be an immature baby .
Anybody out there ?
Even Random Event ?

Ramon Celtic have already blown the Champions league this year with the home draw against AaB but I honestly don't see Man U taking full points from them. It's a double header against Man U and always look forward to playing english clubs.

I agree "Derbys" produce odd results and form can fly out of the window .
But I rate you a little less than last season , so far . But I believe MU are up a gear and their strike force is probably the most lethal in Europe .
I am really looking forward to it but am not a MU fan . Just an admirer. I love the shout and top quality football . Chelsea do look gigantic at the moment .

Well in Europe they aren't playing like they should and domestically they are getting the result, just.I think they'll need to spend but the board aren't prepared to do that if we get an early euro exit so it's catch 22.

Is anyone else in complete awe of Hull City right now? Tied with Liverpool and Chelsea at the top of the Premiership. Unbelievable. I know it's still early but...wow!
