My Marina and I are not typical.
We were pretty sure we would marry the first time we actually met. But we had been talking at LL for over a year before we first got together in the same place.
Also, neither of us had met anybody else.
One piece of advice. Many people never find a person they are satisfied with because they are always wondering if the next person might be better. When you find one that seems right, do not keep looking unless you find you are not right for each other.

i don't think it is important how many times 2 people have met eachother before taking the M decission. I also think it is not important how many other people each of them have met, cause sometimes you have to kiss many frogs to find the prince or the princess.
i think more important is the feeling the other one can give you and if that person gives you this "committment for good" feeling.

I don't think this is a good way to address the French, Rainy - we need to keep it friendly and PC here :kuku:
Personally I admit to kissing one French guy. I wonder if I'm on the right track and whether this will help me to find my prince. :becky:

But tonight she has written and has fallen in love with someone locally but as i had told her in beginning it was always possible this could happen and even so ths could be a great friendship then a love story, yes it makes me sad and it was just as hard for her to write and tell me.

I was French kissing a French guy and throwing French letters out of French windows, after which I took a French leave.

Sorry about that. But the way I see it, that's one of the main problems with long-distance relationship, because you find yourself in an ambigous position - on one hand you're commited to a certain person and not supposed to date any other people, but on the other - you're still alone most of the time, you can't touch the person you're involved with, you can't spend time together, if you go out - you're on you own, and life still goes on around you. So I don't think these relationships should become infinite without going to the next logical level in foreseeable future as that can be really hard for both parties.

No. It's just that he was eating too much French fries, and becoming really fat. So the idea of French kissing him looked less and less appealing each day.
So I had to do the only adult and considerate thing I could think of - I told him to uck off, if you pardon my French.

Cherie, if I did that, that would be really cruel, wouldn't it.
I've just made a fantastic dinner for myself that included cup noodles with extra tabasco and a can of beer. It's a pity I've forgotten to light a candle and play some soft music, but I was too hungry and couldn't pay attention to such minor details.
Considering the fact that I'd spent the previous 2 days eating yugurt only as it was the only thing left in the fridge and I had too much work and no time to go grocery shopping, that cup noodles was one of the best meals I ever had. :becky:
So, I think that pretty much gives you idea of my cooking talents. :becky:
p.s. I can't wait till my daughter gets old enough to start cooking nice meals for me.
