no, looks like driver got out. Not sure about the subject header as Rally is pretty big in the States
Is it a sport per se...really? The definition of sport is getting very cloudy

I think racing is considered a sport, and its true we do a lot of high speed rallies, not many are in the news any more, most are done in remote desert reaches, but there are many done in Africa, Mexico, etc. etc.
yes it seems it is all a sport any more, far beyond what most of us would consider sport.
That was one very bad wreck, it was the last scene, where there is a guy on his knees peering into the crushed cabin, that made me wonder if any one got out alive.
I Was at a Mint 400 off road race in Nevada, the vehicles are amazing, and have many safety feachers to ensure the driver, co drivers ability to survive wrecks that kill every one in a regular truck or auto.
but it is the 3rd crash,(internal organs against the inside of the body that nothing can protect, that really does the killing).
Hey there are many things we do, we should not:biggrin:
Part of the adventure of life, yes?

Usually nobody die , at least only the spectators ...The rallycars protect the drivers and codrivers..
And spectators have to be in safe places...

But rallies are for europeans, specially northerns. Dont remember any american or canadian driving in the championship, at least at the top.

Canadians play real sports; and certainly not "sports" you can try to emulate by putting few quarters in a game slot at your local arcade.
