Which historic leader would you have rather lived under?
For me it would have to be Robert the Bruce.
Here's a quiz to make it interesting too, which ancient leader are you? (http://quizfarm.com/quizzes/new/Cathelm/what-leader-of-ancientclassical-history-are-you/)

You Scored as Alexander the Great
Strong, likeable, energetic, good looking- you are the very image of youth. You set out to conquer the world, and in a very 4th century BC sense, you did. Within four years you shattered the Achaemenid empire. You liked to celebrate your victories with excessive eating and partying. But, only the good die young- you died in your thirties, at the prime of your empire.

You Scored as Chandragupta Maurya
You started out living in the small land of Magadha in South-east India. As Alexander the Great's empire failed in the west, you saw the opportunity to fill the administrative void he left and set out on a great conquering adventure. Bit by bit, province by province, you came to rule all of India and founded the Mauryan empire. Of course, the empire wouldn't have been nearly as great without Chandragupta's best friend and advisor Kautalya, who always had good wisdom to give, which Chandragupta listened to eagerly.

I scored as some Chinese emperor with a name sounding like Shi Tzu or similar. Very peaceful, fan of education and absoltely crappy at managing his country. :becky:
Damn... I hoped to score as Xena the Warrior Princess, but I'm not 100% sure she wasn't a fictional character :becky:
As for the poll, I didn't find options I would have liked to vote for.
I'd like to live under Lenin. I'd have become a shooting instructor and made sure that Fanny Kaplan didn't make a complete fanny of herself and miss that shot.

You Scored as Han Wudi
Considered to be the 'martial emperor', you ruled China for 54 years during some of the most successful times in Chinese history. You kept things highly organized under your command, and it worked well. You're really big on conquering new lands and expanding your territory, in a very military way. p.s. Russia already has experience of living under an ancient leader. Leonid Brezhnev was so freaking ancient his assistants had to move his lips for him. Probably he spent too much energy doing sloppy wet kisses. Mwah

you Scored as HammurabiYou are the creator of the earliest, most comprehensive known law code, which laid out the rules and punishments for murder, changes in property, etc. You follow the rule of 'lex taliones'- an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. Whatever one does harm to another, then the afflicted has the right to paybacks. Though your military prowess is strong, taxing and governing are your preferred methods of ruling your empire, and it seems to work rather well.

You Scored as Sargon of Akkad
As a child you were placed in a basket by unknown parents and sent floating down the river, on which you were found and raised by a gardener. This didn't stop you from becoming one of the world's first great rulers as you led your army around the middle east, defeating all of your foes and uniting them as the Akkadian empire. As your subjects didn't have much experience in being part of such a large political body, you had to have good orginizational skills for your rule to last as long as it did. You Scored as Liu BangYou (Liu Bang, the first emperor of the Han dynasty) are a great guy. Though not all that charismatic, you are highly methodical in all that you do, and you work for the betterment of society. Initially, you entrusted provinces of your Chinese empire to family members and close friends, thinking that you could trust them to be loyal to them. Sadly, they all turned against you. But you managed to keep things under control, though not without help from the brilliant advisors you kept near your side to aid you with difficult tasks.

You Scored as Yu of China
One of the greatest heroes of ancient China, Yu was credited of saving the people from the wrath of the Yellow River, which had previously devastated the homes of those who lived nearby. He reportedly worked for 13 years straight on the project. His family often called out to him to stop and come back home, but he continued to work for the benefit of his people.
