Tonight I drove to the gasstation with my Jeep and they did'nt have gas  and they said they havent had gas sinse sunday aftrenoon. So I drove 8 miles back home and I had about three gallons in a gas can I use for the lawnmower then I drove to Sanford 15 miles away and bough $116.00 woth of gas and filled my Jeep two 5 gallon cans and a 2 gallon can too. I also put octaine booster in the gas becuse they only had 87 octaine gasoline.
Are anyone else having gas shortages in their area ? It kinda nerving to arrive on empty at gas station and they don't have any gas either LOL

On the local news, they said that gas is down to about $3.25 per gallon, but they did'nt say anything about shortages. I have read that there are many shortages in the southern states though.

First time I have ever heard of a shortage of gas down south. You can construe that any which way you like.

You mean that you had not heard about the short supply and high price of beans lately?

I heard that there is enough gas, it is just that people are hoarding it before supply levels can get caught up from the hurricane.

A little over a week ago, all the gas stations were out of gas here, and there were actually long lines of cars following gas trucks down the road on the way to refill the gas stations.

Well unless some unexpected trip pops up in the next two to three weeks I'm set with gas.
Brandon it's a shame I don't live in Charlotte; Then we could go in on a 1,000 gallons fuel tank system with a pump and meter. That way when they raise the price of gas again this summer we have gas and cheap gas too.
