Sis I think it is either :
KELO Like + Love ke + lo = Kelo
Or it could be LOHA Love + Hate = lo + ha = Loha ( Love hate relationship ) :becky:

"I like you very much" is a deflation. A disappointment. It says, "I think you're really sweet, and nice, you can be one of my twenty three best friends, but I don't ever want to sleep with you".
"I love you" opens the door to broader possibilities, if it hasn't happened already. :)

"I like you very much" can lead to "I love you", depending on the situation. For instance, you and her have met recently and like each other very much. It might be too soon to fall in love, but it could be the begining of something more. Now if you have been dating for some time, and she tells you "I like you very much", it could mean that she only sees you as a friend.

Nice topic, Lumi ;)
I think it depends on how you perceive the word love. Do you use it casually? Or do you use it carefully? And what does love really mean to you? The answers to these questions, of course, are different for each person.
When we are younger, we often do not appreciate the real power of this word, especially when preceded by “I” and followed by “you.” When someone tells you, “I love you,” it can rock your world.
It might take you to an amazing emotional high (if you want to hear it from that person), or it might make you uncomfortable or even afraid. In any case, it is not heard – especially for the first time – without some emotion being triggered. These words can change someone’s life.
As we grow older, we usually come to understand this better and become more careful about using the word. Granted, many people do not become more careful, and there are a very few people who seem to understand the power of the word even when young. But it’s rare.
So, the next question is to know when you really are in love and when it really is right to use the word. Some people feel like it’s “love” whenever they feel the rush of emotions (or hormones) and are quick to blurt it out.
After a time, however, their feeling fades and they “fall out of love.” In my opinion, it probably wasn’t love in the first place. Might have been better to just say, “I really like you.”
Some people use the word love in order to get what they want in a relationship: sex, attention, gifts, money, marriage, etc. They might even believe it to a point, but they recognize that by saying “I love you” at the right time, they can get what they want.
For me, the bar is very high. Real love, in my opinion, only comes a few times in a person’s life. I don’t like to say “I love you” unless I am really very sure of my own feelings.
Before I discovered real love for the first time, I tended to use the word carelessly. As a result, I wound up in a terrible, loveless marriage. Of course, it ended in divorce.
Shortly after that, I met someone with whom I found real love for the first time. I was overwhelmed, and using the word was not only natural, it was real, and it was right. I have only used the word with one other person since then. That is only two women in more than 20 years.
It is a word that I do NOT use casually, and if I say it, I definitely mean it.

If you are attracted to someone then you like, like them which can lead to romantically loving them.

Same for me. If I know it is love, then I am NOT afraid to say it. But I am careful not to mistake other feelings for love, and I am careful not to lead a woman on by saying something that I am not sure is true.
But if I know it's really love, I will shout it out loud on the most crowded street!! :becky:

its simple I think....."love" shows some kind of commitment...."like" is just before you are ready to committ....I think we can love many people at one time but we committ ourselves to only one person at a time....sometimes people get wrapped up around the "love" word thinking its the end product of searching for emotional bliss when its actually just strong emotional feelings towards some one....its commitment that stops us from looking around for some one else....people often committ without love

Can 1 person love a few men/women same way? Is this nonsense? What do you think?
I think, it*s possible , but happen rarely. Our community doesn*t want to accept what a person can love a few persons same way like if this be a one at all. The majority suppose 1 must be for 1. Stupid stereotypes. Don*t you think?:becky::rolleyes:

there is a huge difference between like and love. people like each other, they like to be in each other company and to laugh together, but from here to lov there is a huge way.
love is a poweful feeling and it is more than liking.....and as a song was saying, love can even support to not like someone.
I love you but i don't like ya, don't like ya, don't like ya......

nice questions
even dont know if agree with u or not... i dont think the reason is in community... its 21 centure outside ;) and people are free enough express what they want and the way they want... i think its more induvidually... if some accept loving few men/women at a time... thats theirs choice :yo: but the question is how about u/me/him/her... do u/he/ she wants love few at the same time and be loved by some... personaly me - no... to love some i just cant... to be loved by some... i dont want it...
as for triangles... not good way unless 3 are agreed ;) as we know triangle has 3 sharp corners... and each can hurt each of 3...
and how much of u want to share kisses... toutchings... dreams... love... sex and many other things with someone else?
i dont want... i want to give all myself and get all himself...

honestly? i dont know where is the border... i think its difficult to say or see it unless u get there...
but think that border is very thin... i have never been in love... i just thought it was...:plane: so its difficult to say...
u can just wake up one morning and got a flash in yr mind - damn... im caught...
or u can even dont understand it... only when many years pass u will understand what it was after yr life experiance...
or some have even to lose to see things in the head on right shalves ;)

have you ever loved someone but for some reason you couldn't be with that person? so what do you do, committ suicide? no, you find someone else to love....do your feelings for that first person stop just because you cant be with him/her? no, the feelings are still there although the feelings may fade over time but you can still love that person

I think that "I like you very much" can have two meanings. Like Paul said it can mean something like - I really like you and lets see if this leads us to something more - or the - I like you very much but...as a friend.
As to " I love you", to be honest I find that to have become a bit banal and a good instrument to mislead others, a sign of times and the degeneration of values that modern societies face ...perhaps. I dont find it a very easy thing to say, it takes time and a reasonable level of personal security ( in a relationship) to jump to that phase. However I admit that sometimes an uncontrollable burst of feelings and emotions can lead to that point, something that happens often with us emotive southerners :P .
As for myself I havent said that to anyone for a long time nor i predict i will in the near future....but who knows...
I actually prefer the expression "I adore you", I find it much deeper and less banal that "I love you"...and that one I said only once...
All IMHO as always...
f*n nice  :becky:
It nice to see how your english is improving Svetik :lol:
