Earth’s ‘wobble’ means your zodiac sign may be wrong

I'm not really into astrology, but I found this article interesting.


A Minnesota astronomer confirms what many have suspected: Your horoscope is quite possibly wrong.
Earth's shifts on its axis over the past 3,000 years have changed the 12 zodiac signs. For example, think your sign is Aquarius? You may be a Pisces. (There's also a 13th sign, Ophiuchus, that's based on a constellation the ancient Babylonians threw out for symmetry thousands of years ago.)

So who's to blame for this scam on zodiac devotees?
The ancient Babylonians based the zodiac on which constellation the sun appeared to be in when a person was born. Since then, the moon's has exerted a gravitation pull on Earth, causing a "wobble" on its axis that has shifted the stars' alignment by about a month, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports.

"Because of this change in the tilt, the Earth is over here and the sun is in a different constellation than it was 3,000 years ago when this study of the stars began," astronomer Parke Kunkle told the Twin Cities' KARE-TV.
The shift isn't new, Kunkle says -- the zodiac world just hasn't taken the wobble into account.

I know three persons born on Aug 5, 8 and 10 - no way they are Cancers - they are absolutely ideal Leos with all their bells and whistles.

I am also very familiar with the Taurus born in the first decade of May and I will tell you - mamamia what kind of Taurus they are and the Areas should be very happy that these people are not included in the league of Areas.

It is just another example that this theory is not correct. You are a Cancer and there is nothing Geminish about you.
On the other hand, our local Star - Ramon - is a Cancer too, if I remember it right, but if I did not know it I would have been thinking that he is a very bright example of Gemini.

Not sure about this shift, most people I know still resemble their signs a lot. I was an exclusion, didn't resemble either scoprio or saggitarius while was on the border between them. According info from Russian internet though sign Ophiuchus: Nov. 29-Dec. 17 is for those born on Nov. 18-Nov. 27 and I am right in the middle. And in this case description resembles me.
That is not sure about shift, lol not sure about horoscope in general too actually, but found that this 13th sign is applicable at least in one case :-)
