THE British Museum, home to some of the world's greatest art treasures, is being overrun by an army of mice after it lost its frontline defence against rodents - eight cats.
Over the past 18 months the numbers of feral cats resident at the museum has dropped by more than half, leading to a boom in the mouse population that threatens not only the collections of ancient artefacts but food supplies and hygiene levels in the restaurants.
Two years ago the cats - which were all part of the same family - were kept in a hut in a garden at the back of the museum. Now only three are left.
Ken Stanard, the head of the British Museum building and estates, said yesterday: "We are battling with the mice ...

Neither have I! That's why I was so much surprised when I read it here in the post by turkuaz.
Isn't it amazing? We live in the Third Millenium and only such small weak creatures like cats make it possible for us to see and admire the great works of art from the far away past.
I am looking at my Coco Sha with wide-opened eyes in great astonishment.

It`s funny byt I posted it and Neilikka posted what she laughed about my joke to suggest cat to eat grass to save mice`s lifes:)though this her post was deleted too...:confused: Technologi can be very unsafe - maybe u can post your post once more. As for a Post being removed --- just re-post it, as I sometimes do if I do not accept the removal in the first instance .

Oh! One idea occured to me! I suspect Ramon to be that Malevich!
I asked him to read that article and retell it to us, but I suppose he was too lazy to do it(and maybe has run of money) , that's why he has done everything to capture our attenttention with some other incident. Maybe that is the reason for his desire to have one to one councelling with Novelbeauty?

Wow!:eek:I am sorry Paul but I did`nt wrote about You in that post which was deleted and I did`nt think about bad things then I wrote it.
I gust laughed about idea to suggest cats a grass to eat,save mice`s life by this way and it`s possible to use live traps and let mice go to a field like Crazy Larry did.
Is there something terrible here to remove This post?...
Or maybe you dont like something else and as a result my post was deleted?So Please tell me what is wrong and let`s decide this problem to make Peace alredy.

It's not hard to guess considering the size of red letters in the warnings. Just be attentive while reading the Forum and you will learn a lot of interesting things which people would like to hide but can't. Their temper is their second personality. :wizard:

Look at Jurassic . Hospitalised after her head blew up and left one eye dangling from it's socket .
Others have simply declined into a state similar to dementia and at least one has become a fifth columnist and taken on the role of Soddy .
