So, what would you prefer: a woman too much pretty outside and uneducated, unintilligent
with cold temperament etc :becky: or not pretty woman outside ( just so called * usual * outside), but educated, good housewife( cooking, cleaning, blablabla :becky: ), pretty good soulfriend? :rolleyes::cool:

I would have to say, personally, the average looking lady, but highly educated and how understands me fully as my soul mate. That above all else is what is important. Looks, if she has them, are just like the icing on a cake.

Though, I do feel there you have to be attracted to the women physically also. So to some respects, looks and body do have importance, just not quiet as much as most women think.

Imo there has to be a distinction made between beauty and attraction, sometimes they walk hand in hand but in more than a few occasions this is not the case. Attraction is much more subjective than beauty.

It works the same way for both sexes and if we find someone unattractive he/she has a snowflake's chance in hell with us, whoever says the opposite I think is lieing to him/herself. Attraction is more than physical appearance but appearance plays a part in this.

So, we are interested to those we are attracted to but their character, soul if you prefer, is what will keep us with them or not. 1amongmany said it the best!

I personally would not want to spend time with the first option you give.
I would get bored out of my mind after one day with her. The cold temperament is the biggest turn off to me. Personality goes a longs ways into how you are seen by others.
So all other possibilities would be considered.

First of all everybody looks for different things in a partner.

Secondly, you showed extremes here.

The beauty is also a very relative thing. I am not speaking here about some congenital malformations which are unfortunately not changeable (except for operations or so on).
Besides, I noticed that you meant by “not pretty” an ordinary looking woman. And what is ordinary looking woman??? The things that make an ordinary looking woman not to be pretty are her character, her complexes, fears and so on… not much to do with appearance because we don’t live in a static world. Everything is connected… And extremely good looking girl sitting next to us can suddenly start looking ugly after she began to speak… and an ordinary girl that is not that noticeable in a crowd can look at us and smile and then we suddenly believe she is the prettiest creature in the world.

I believe that beautiful soul and character always make a person look more beautiful and if it does not happen there are two possibilities: the very person only thinks that she has a beautiful soul and character (which is not that true in reality) or the person met wrong people on her way who just were not able appreciate real beauty. ;)
