Kavakcenter is a remarkable site for news and particularly from the Caucasus region . They were a key source for predicting the Russian invasion of South Ossetia and Abkhazia nearly a month before the Georgian movement into SO . And their detailed leaks from Moscow , in terms of troop and equipment movements plus timings , were a revelation .
For a long time I kept an open mind , realising that much might be deliberately planted disinformation --- from Moscow and not necessarily from Kavakcenter .Now the complete picture is emerging .

Yesterday they issued the most mind blowing perspective on the Ruslan Yamadayev assassination that one could imagine .
I urge you to read this article .
I am deliberately leaving it to you to make the effort , as this alone should ensure that YRWM don't tire themselves.
The article is long and until names start to be recognised and mentally filed , it might seem confusing .
However , give it a go , because it is the most staggering article I have read in many a year .
Whether it stretches credulity too far , is something that could be discussed .
In it's defence , be aware of Kavakcenter's record of being right and their relative disinterest in anything but their own long term cause which is , in fairness , redical moslem government .

From reading the article, I get the impression that they are implying that Medvedev is trying to purge Putin. Although this would be in keeping with long standing Kremlin practices, I thought that Putin's move over to the same position that Stalin held (loeader of party and Premier of the government) was a consolidation of his power. If there is a power struggle then who will succeed Medvedev. All routes to power in the government is via the Checka (whatever its current name).
