I was drinking my morning coffee and , as usual , reading my copy of the St Petersburg Times .
That Commy woman I suddenly yelled .
Here there's a great chance to praise America and all we get is a silence from Comrade Marina .
So I will tell you
A set of Bells was returned to Moscow's oldest monastery from the US , nearly 80 years after they were sold off as scrap by Stalin .
" The bells , which were in forced exile , have returned " said Russian Orthodox Patriarch , Aledxy 11, after blessing them . " we thank those Imperialist Pigs for preserving them in difficult times ."
" Danilovsky Monastery bells will once again call believers to hear the words of our beloved leader and tell them about the beauty of the Church and the wisdom of our President and Prime Minister . People will be called to Peace ".
Dmitry Medvedev was so excited at having something to do that he rang the bells vigorously until the sheer momentum swept him up into the belfry where he was later heard pleading to be rescued .
These are the stories we want to hear . Not that garbled Pravda rubbish .
Now I have got the ball rolling ,I hope you will be able to keep the bells ringing .
And make sure that little chap got down safely .

You are exceedingly magnanimous but , nevertheless , your chances of getting near my heart are zero .
But I do want to scotch( !!) this writing under the influence nonsense .
Last night I was obliged to be out and about from around 19 .00 until probably just after 21.00 hours . As I was driving , the thought of alcohol never entered my befuddled brain .
Admittedly I did buy a bottle of diet tonic water in preparation for a long G and T , but , when I eventually sat down at the keyboard I decided to opt for a sachet of fine Twinings English Breakfast Tea .
Next time I must remember to boil it in water as it did taste rather bitty !
