Dinner date asked the rudest question/s. Though I was at my chosen restaurant - only a mile away from my home, the conversation was the ultimate 'back-handed' insults, I excused myself to the 'powder room' and called my neighbor/friend to come and pick me up, as this was obviously a sadist I'd dined with.
Nice meal, though he deserved not even the respect of a hand-shake or a pleasant good-bye peck on the cheek and thank you for the evening ...
How would you have handled the situation? Honestly this slug didn't evolve enough to deserve any human's company - could any of you have stayed and exchanged a pleasantry after a course mouth full of venum. He obviously had issues with women, and I just happened to be in his line of sight.
What was I to do?
PS: the shell fish here is in season, and not finishing it is an insult to my taste buds.

Firstly, I concur entirely on the shellfish front. That was the correct decision.
Secondly, once the shellfish course was finished, had enough of the rudeness, I would have had a bit of fun in return. Maybe gone for something like "I like dressing in black rubber and playing with chainsaws. Do you?".

Well, I'd left my leather gear and whip at home unfortunately. Besides, it's far to hot and humid here in July for such gear, the sweat simply makes the black leather boots & waist synching corset far too sticky!

How come you did not pick up on this guy before your famous dinner date ?
And what were these ever so dreadful questions ?
You must have big problems for him to upset you so much -- only a victim can be victimised !!
Just once was I surprised . After having lived the date and fluttered between brilliance , humour , sincerity and empathy I was told by the lady that she could not envisage circumstances where she would want a relationship with a person like me . A bit of a downer .
This happened some 20 years ago and I still occasionally wonder what her exact and various mental health problems were . And does she regret her one great life opportunity .

Ramon! I had no idea your power for self-deprecation could actually inspire such a belly laugh. BRAVO!
PS: mum says she's glad she ran away as fast as she could - she only wanted sperm to create my retarded older brother. She chose better with my biological father/sperm donor, she learned her lesson. Something about apples falling from trees at certain distances ... whatever that means.

There's nothing worse than being patronised by an Asian woman .
But you are right , I have a degree in self deprecation . It's quite useful when you are in a wheel chair .

I am certain you will find there is something worse than being patronised by an Asian woman.
