Grozniy is a very clean city. It's considered a great sin to be dirty or to keep your house, village or city dirty.

More than 100 journalists were killed in Chechnya. It's a garden and a monument monument to their honour.

Not all Chechen women wear kerchieves or scarves on their heads. But it's absolutely neccessary to wear them when women are at work. They don't wear trousers or jeans, only skirts.

Ramon, you should take it at ease - my heart is bleeding every time I see how frustrated and bitter you are. Of course, everything was much better, when we were younger, but believe me - our age has so much to show and to enjoy! I heard one good saying from a lady in Zadrypinsk - If you see the colors fading - visit an ophthalmologist! (must be your source)

A monument to journalists who died in the name of freedom of speech in Chechnya unveiled by Ramzan Kadyrov, the one who's suppressing freedom of speech and inspiring a cult of personality? What a farce! “Mysteriously” most Russian, Chechen and foreign journalists who had courage to openly criticize Mr. Kadyrov have been assassinated. At one point, Kadyrov had been conferred a member of the Union of Russian Journalists - another mockery, before the decision was rescinded following protests from several leading journalists .

Sarah
06-30-2009, 04:03 PM
Don Pedro -
like a person with a Russian (or Soviet) background - can you imagine any really democratic government in Chechnya? Even if they are completely and totally separated from Russia? Can you imagine no farce for the nearest 200 years???

Lucker

Your point is appreciated but it hardly is the one at issue .

This is a guy who has torture cells under his own palace and where he likes to " keep his hand in "
This is the guy who exercises lions , tigers etc on the Palace lawns and who knows what they are fed .
This is a 100% raving nut case by any standards . This is a guy that treats Putin like his lost Dad and whom Putin uses as his pet psychopath .
Get real .

Still , I bet he likes Abba .

Ramon, if you were talking to me - I am very real and very realistic. And Kadyrov is also not an issue in this thread. You were shown a rebuilt city, where people live the way they live now. Believe me - this town looks really good these days - it was completely rebuilt and restored, and million of dollars were used for this purpose (though of course half of them were laundered).
Do you want us to build barricades and to kill Kadyrov et al for your satisfaction? No fooking way will I participate in any kind of military action, even if it will be necessary to protect you from Putin and v.v. Plus be real - if any of them disappear - there are thousands of the others staying in the lines to immediately replace them.
The best what you can do for us is to stop threatening here, but to open a shelter for new immigrants, because I am already packing my luggage. Please, send tickets, money to bribe the customs, coordinates and secret pass-word to recognize each other, I will hold a "Times" issue 1962 with a portrait of Khrushchev on the cover page, in case your forget the pass-word.
See ya soon,
Sarah

I was terrified these photos, they lying and spurious, an artificial gloss under a huge mountain of the dynamite. A gross propaganda.

Ramon is not naive person but he has narrow mental outlook and do not able to understand that most country in the world are not democratic.

And Chechnya is ruled by clans, and Kadyrov a head of most influential chechen clan,
for Chechen do not exist another law only law of high clans,
Kadyrov is bad but has not of alternative

With the best will in the world , you are trying to teach me "how to suck eggs ".
As someone who has probably more detail at his finger tips about the Yamadayev Clan than anybody else on this site , your Clan type of remarks are misplaced and unintentionally rude given the Topics I have raised and their obvious underlying detail knowledge .
You sit thousands of miles from Chechnya with totally restricted information dished out to you and then dare to rubbish someone who also lives a long way away but has information sources far superior and a system which sends in internationally respected reporters to get uninfluenced facts who produce reports which are not edited or subject to official clearance and sanction .
I sometimes find your smugness rather sad for collectively it seems you will do anything possible to avoid facing facts and causes .
At least the majority of English people react with horror and attempted honesty when they realise they have a monster on their doorstep --- Mugabe in Zimbabwe , as an example . And they try to force issues rather than giving in .

Kadyrov makes Mugabe look like a spoilt brat in comparison yet this monster runs Chechnya specifically for Russia because Putin wanted it that way and , in your turn , you want Russia to be run by a guy like your present Prime Minister .
A good case can actually be made out for prosecution of Putin for war crimes when you realise what he has done in Chechnya since organising the bombing spree in Russia by his Security Forces in 1999 to unite the population against Chechens and get himself elected .
By the same token you might want to criticise us for allowing Blair to take us into Iraq .
But we are now setting up a third review of this total matter and refuse to share Blair's responsibilty until the full truth is divulged . We were close to open rebellion only a few weeks ago because the Government wanted the review held privately . We are now winning the battle for a totally independent , public hearing and Blair himself will be forced to be interrogated and everybody else who was part of that process .
That's the difference .

Ladies and gentlemen, sorry for off top. Kosh needed spanking.

Sorry for us being again cackling witches and Squigglers,
but
