I'm talking about songs, old well-known ones that appear having a new sound, like wearing a new dress
I've been listening to this one today..

Seether is a post-grunge band, from Johannesburg, South Africa, formed in 1999.
Originally named Saron Gas, they changed their name in 2002.

The waitress in the restaurant we attended that saw you in your skirt (ok, ok, kilt ), holding my handbag and applying your lip balm, actually thought it was you who was perv, not me. Poor thing, she laughed so hard I was afraid she would hurt herself.

Now, stop offtopping Hoopy, back to the original topic :p

Arguably the nastiest and tackiest Topic it has been my misfortune to notice .
It's like children playing with their own faeces .

Thank you for placing "I put a spell on you" - I collect it in different versiosn in mp3 and I lost Bonnie Tyler's. Does anyone have it by any chance? It is one of the really best of hers.

Ca Dab ,
Yes BT is probably the most under rated British voice of the last few decades --- probably permanently drunk .
But the backing track . Plonk a plonk for kids with some "uplifting" choral type crap . It bears no resemblace whatsoever to the mood and point of the song --- see Nina Samone , obviously .

Sarah

Actually, I do not like her either, but she managed to show the best of her in this song.
And of course I have Nina in my collection.

You miss my point .
Her voice is outrageously brilliant .
Unique and more gutsy and bluesy than a black gospel songer .
Probably never had a decent manager .
Just mentally compare her to the rubbish of Britney Spears , Kelly Clarkeson and even Madonna . Let alone those bland formulaic Russian and Eastern Bloc singers . !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sarah

Aha. I missed your point. I read it 2 times again and then started to understand. You should take into account that English is not our mother tongue, so we would appreciate if you express your thoughts in a simple way. Simplicity is as good as robbery...

Thank you - you are very kind. We also try to raise you and to properly horizon you in Bastet's thread inviting you to learn Russian. Please, do not ignore our efforts.
