I'm torn on this one.
As the title says 'Rachel' is gettng married - but the main event - and star of the movie is her totally self-obsessed, self-centered sister who is taken from rehab to attend her sister's wedding.
It's uncomfortable to watch as Hathoway navigates her way through human relations and seems so completely self absorbed.
If one wishes to see a movie with an emotionaly challenged character who somehow redeems themself in the end - this just isn't for you.
Anne Hathoway's character never gives us (the viewer) the emotional release the audience is expecting and waiting for.
Uncomfortable, selfish, borderline personality disorder on full display here. If drama without release is your forte, go for it, otherwise save yourself and hour and a half of your life you'll never get back.
