If you don’t see me online in a few next days, it means that i am either in reanimation or dead…But I really hope that what I ate today won’t influent on me that bad… you probably know about Japanese sushi bars, Its when you enter and take seat infront of round table, and there is the line with dishes that goes around, so people can pick up what their like themselves and eat it.
It was wonderful day today, me and my best friend Linda, whom im going to lose in marriage in a cupple of month, congratulations to her and bad luck for me ( sound selfish, but that is how I feel now, though im happy to see her happy, just cant imagine my life without her) though it different story So, we went to tennis store and I bought new grip, and strings, then we desided to have launch and get in that sushi bar… there was many different types of sushi, and we took as many plates as possible ( girls with huge apitites) then we saw glass of beer and we took it too. As soon as beer got in my hands I felf that it is strange beer. It didn’t seem liquid, but looked like jelly and suds was also made from unknown things…After my experience with silk worms in China ( I think you remember it) I thought that nothing can be worse, so I desided to try this jelly beer, and Linda joined me…Oh god, what happened next, it worth to see it, and its really difficult to describe. Waitress rushed to us with eyes like Angelina Joly has, or even bigger, the sound of her voice was like in Americans movies when super hero rush out of explosion and shout “ nooooooooooooo” in slow action…then she said something in Japanese and added one English word, that fricked me out… she tried to take away that glass away from me, but I hold it strongly in shock, then I started to laugh like crazy and blashing and that made me more ashamed and I become as red as tomato. Linda at that moment was under table shacking in hysterics laugh… That’s was preety big in expensive sushi bar compering to others, it was launch time so you can imagine how many people was in, and now imagine how terribly bad and shamed we felt after tasting that F$#^^&G jelly beer…Ah, the word, that waitress said was ‘ sample’… we ate god damned sample infront of huge amount of people…
Ya boyus’ za svoe zdorovie, chto mojet stat’ s moim jeludkom? Ya ne znayu iz chego bil sdelan mylyaj, no vryad li iz sedobnih veshestv…
And why the hell, things that you shouldn’t eat stay with things that you can eat. Or at least why there is no warning written in big letters ` DON’T EAT` in english?

Actually the Japanese are famous for their love of jellied drinks... They have sodas that have a jellied component in them. So when you described this, it was not a huge leap. Although I can see how you would have mistaken the realistic looking sample for the real thing. It's actually a nice compliment to the artist. He/she obviously did a very good job. Believe it or not, that is actually a career that people aspire to... to create realistic looking plastic food for store windows or displays. They are often made of wax... be thankful that you did not eat that! LOL! The fake food is very common in Japan, and Japanese restaurants. It is also used for commercials.

Never heard of Jelly Beers before .
Particularly interesting for me as I am a jelly freak .
Around three times a week I make a jelly when I get up . This is invariably Blackcurrant flavour . Around lunch time I add a second jelly on top -- the first is set . This will be either strawberry or raspberry flavour . Lastly , I add a third layer around tea time and this is always lime flavour .
When making the first and third layers I also add fruit , usually mandarin segments and cut banana slices in the other .
I have to admit that often I consume this treble jelly and double fruit during one evening . A bad addiction judging by my waist line .
But jelly Beer ? Most intriguing

Yes
As for Trifle . Wish my Mum was still alive . She knew how to make them , with Martini or Cinzano .Using Liquers is rather expensive and wasteful , not that I would complain .

As a thought .
I can cook but I am neither subtle or really knowledgeable .
Therefore , have any of you girls got easy to make Trifle recipes ?
Any champion recipes will earn my undying love though I will still lecture you in the Politics section
