I want to go to either Yalta or Alushta for a family holiday but do not know very much about either of these places so I'm hoping I can get some advice and information here about these places.
Trip will be in July for two adults and two young girls of 7 years.
Any help, information and advice, will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

oh.. Scotland is known as the most windy place on the earth.... Sunny..? If you say so..
Hoopy, with the same success and a friendly cordial smile on your face you could advise northern Chad, the dustiest place on Earth. Et cetera, et cetera.. I've found also bbc site.. the name of it:
Where is the most boring place on earth?
And here's the beginning:
"I think the most boring place I have ever been to is the Heathrow Airport public viewing platform! There are people sat up there with packed lunches, binoculars and CB radios checking for planes, that they think they haven't already seen, in their notebooks and guides. It's cold, drizzling, and there is just a constant stream of screaming planes taking off. A few brain dead sparrows beg for crumbs. Exciting?"

Jim, as for Crimea.. Ukrainians say it is a wrong idea.. It is known as a marvellous place with fascinating landscapes and a unique micro climate but bloody expensive (if to compare with the prices at any resort in any country) with total absence of any service.
