Gobsmacked at her singing. I'll be stunned if she doesn't win the competition out of shear support from the nation.

They just showed Susan Boyle on the Russian TV, parts from that video. They say already 30 millions watched this. She will hit all records. They are already printing t-shirts with her face somewhere :lol:

She was also shown right across UK national TV news today. In the space of a few days, she has become an international enigma.

I have no doubt that the programme owner Simon Cowell, will have matters well in his control. He must be wringing his hands together with currency signs popping up infront of his eyes like new stars forming in a galaxy.

I think she looks significantly older than her 47 years. In this regard, she could be representative of any ordinary senior lady, grandmother, or babouschka right across the planet. This is one of the factors that has captured people's hearts. Unpretentious, uncluttered, not manicured for the media. I hope they don't ruin her dream by trying to smarten her up too much and artificially turn her into something photogenic for the media.

But most important of all, it looks like she is going to realise her dream. :)
