Week 1 of the NFL season is in the books. Some big surprises (Bears over Colts, Chargers getting shocked at home by the Panthers). Some of the usual disappointments seem to continue (sorry Paul and Frank). And what a shock for Patriots fans to lose Brady for the year! It looks like their season is done now (mediocre at best).

But the highlight of this week??

:becky:BRONCOS 41 - Evil Legion 14... IN OAKLAND!!

(sorry, Frank... couldn't resist:p)

you forgot to mention "ON MONDAY NIGHT"
I think Al Davis ages 5 years everytime Denver beats Oakland

Losing Brady was not just a shock for the Pats fans but for most of the league....imagine the effect that has on team's playbooks...who gameplans against a back up?

I don't have television (personal choice). So I just catch results on the Internet. It's not so bad during football season, but I do suffer during the NHL season.

You could ease your suffering if you followed a different team:becky::becky::becky::p

Fooking Lions! Totally figures they would go 4-0 in the pre-season and then come into game 1 and give up 300+ yards on the ground.

The D coordinator is related to Marinelli somehow. I think it's his brother-in-law or something. The guy should have been fired last year, but he takes no blame at all. 300+ on the ground!

I take consolation in knowing how depressed you all would be there in Detroit if it were not for the Dead Things.:nhl_checking:

And now you get to "enjoy" the boys in baby blue for the next several months.:p

Do the Lions play the Evil Legion this year? Or will it be possible to have TWO winless teams in the league?
