I would much rather see him voted out of office and dragged through the streets by angry voters.

I agree completely with Bob. What has happened to him medically is a shame and I would not wish it on anyone. I have never liked or admired the man, and I have liked even less what he has stood for. But the people of Massachusetts kept him in office through fair and free elections, as is their right. Things won't improve much with his leaving the Senate, as Massachusetts is one of the most left-wing states in the U.S. and will continue to elect liberal Democrats for the forseeable future.
