Eurovision Dance Contest 2008, or as organizers define it "the second annual showcase of the continent's most complex choreography and riveting routines", will be hosted by BBC Scotland in Scottish Exhibition and Conference Center (SECC), Glasgow on 6th of September and presented again by Graham Norton and Claudia Winkleman.

ESCKaz congratulates Polish couple Marcin Mroczek and Edyta Herbus, whose victory appeared to be rather unpredictable to Europe, but not to ESCKaz on spot reporter Roisin Butters, who predicted yesterday Polish success, despite certain lack of national colour in their dance. It seems that Marcin has some special TV appeal as he has already topped the only international version of Dancing With Stars which took place in Ukraine this year, and it helped him to succeed again with addition of reasonable Polish diaspora support.

Russian couple has very intence dance and their emotional choreography may look a bit over done, but at least I consider them as very theatrical and I think their selection of Vladimir Vysotski music theme.

Ukrainian dancers are very talented, and untintentionally funny with their expression. They should also get good votes only for their choice of music.

Couple from Denmark was a favourite at the begining and they got the biggest scoor from jury (48): 4 for persons from jury gave it 12 scors (max). I agree it was elegant

Without any patriotic attitude which our western men don't like about russian girls i would like to say that our dancers were the best in my opinion. the dance was really energetic and coveying russian culture. all countries gave us high points from 5 to 12 apart from uk which didn't give us anything. well, in my opinion it was political result 'cause of situation in georgia (beezneesman, hello, brainwashing :) ), but russia is not political, it was voting for the dance performance and gave brith dances as much as they deserved : 1 point :)

мне понравились австрийцы (партнер - сущий оригинал! стильная штучка)), поляки и очень выразителен партнер в украинской паре. чисто фред астер :)
