Have no idea what accent is that. Not enought text: the lady just repeated Edinborough about 13 times in a row, so you can't really understand the accent, considering she keeps repeating only one word. Definitely not enough clues.

p.s. if that is the Scottish accent, then what freaking language is Hoopy speaking??? :becky:

I love English English 'cos I like how it sounds.
I love Scottish English.. it makes me smiling.:)
I would love Irish English.. but I hardly understand it.. as if a speaking person is chewing bloody hot potato.
I love Welsh English simply because I love it.
I didn't hear too much of Australian English.. just a couple of guys we get acquainted during a conference in Tallinn.. and that was their first trip to Europe.. I've never been to Australia, sadly.
I like my Italian friend speaking Italian English.. We know each other for ages, and I love to drive him crazy, kidding him, repeating: "I wil' cal' you tomorrrrrrow..." :becky:
And.. ohh.. I love French English... as I understand almost nothing and words do not distract me of an enchanting teller ;)

Can you imagine.. no one killed me yet.. ;)
And we are talking about English language now, aren't we? Accented one but English though..

And this is "good night fiction" ;)

Scots or Lowland Scots refers to the Germanic varieties (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Variety_(linguistics)) derived from Middle English (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle_English) spoken in parts of Lowland Scotland (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lowland_Scotland), Northern Ireland (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_Ireland) and the border areas of the Republic of Ireland (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republic_of_Ireland). It is not to be confused with Scottish Gaelic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_Gaelic), the surviving Celtic language (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celtic_language) of Scotland (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scotland). Native speakers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Native_speakers) in Scotland and Ireland (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ireland) usually refer to their vernacular (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vernacular) as "Broad Scots" (braid Scots) or use a dialect name such as "Teri (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Scots)", "the Doric (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doric_dialect_(Scotland))" or "the Buchan Claik". The old-fashioned "Scotch (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scotch)" occurs occasionally, especially in Ireland. The term Lallans ("of the Lowlands") is used too, though this is more often taken to mean the specific Lallans (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lallans) literary form (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Literary_language). Scots in Ireland is known in official circles as "Ulster Scots (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ulster_Scots)" or Ullans.
Since there are no universally accepted criteria for distinguishing languages (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Language) from dialects (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dialect), scholars and other interested parties often disagree about the linguistic, historical and social status of Scots. Although a number of paradigms for distinguishing between languages and dialects do exist, these often render contradictory results. Consequently, Scots is sometimes treated as a variety of English (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_language), but with its own distinct dialects. Although the exact difference between Scots and Standard Scottish English (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_English) is unclear, Scots is often treated by others as a distinct Germanic language (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Germanic_language), in the way Norwegian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norwegian_language) is distinct from Danish (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danish_language), with Scottish English being thought of as the English dialect of Scotland.

Sure...there are many accents I like...including some not listed...but none I favour as such...

I find it hard to believe that anyone would vote for their own...which can be imperceptible to ones own ears...or is it more of a 'nationalistic' preference for ones own Country?
