I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to call this thread but it came from the Group called Patriotic Americans. I am a collector of prints and have come to enjoy owning and trading prints by an artist named Norman Rockwell. Rockwell is well known inside America as the creator of more than 40 years of Saturday Evening Post magazine covers depicting scenes of Americana. Whether it was life as it really happened or if it was merely what Rockwell envisioned life should be is the question that should never be answered. Each one that I have owned over the years has presented me with many hours of just looking and enjoying and almost hearing the words being spoken. Here are a few on the web I have been able to find. This man was not just a patriot, he showed us and continues to show us an insight into ourselves no matter what country we belong to.

Sorry, Dean, I have never seen any pictures by Norman Rockwell. I have never even heard of this painter. Don't you know if he is a relative of Kent Rockwell? Rockwell Kent is very well known in Russia. His works are even in the Hermitage, St.Petersburg. I like his paintings showing us the North-Alaska and Canada.
There is Assinboine Mountain in Canada in two pictures.

I love those places. I had the chance quite a few times to work in the shadow of those mountains. Thanks for posting them...they're amazing!!
