Or what not to do! Now I already had seen the results of Dust and cat Hair but baby Powder is a killer... I was offline last night and most of today because my Tower was in several pieces being brushed.blown off, wiped, scrubbed and finally put back together(hopefully in working condition) You can't believe all the places that very fine powder can get. But now as I watch the results of my labor it was well worth it. This thing is flying today and staying a lot cooler. I need a Water cooled P.C. :faint:

Does anyone know if I can hose off my keyboard at the car wash without hurting anything?

I think not so good option. But go to the gas station and use the air compressor :becky:

I actually do use an air compressor. I have a small two gallon compressor that I use mainly for air-brushing, but I also use it to clean dust from my PC's.

I used to work in Disaster Recovery and this was 'run of the mill' for us. Yep, strip it down, hose it, 'blow dry' it and put it in the oven on very low - trust me this is the technique we used on a daily basis. The car wash might be a bit brutal - it could rub off the letters on the keys!

Put it in the washing machine and then the tumble dryer, that will clean it up for you.....put your cats in too, save you washing them for a while.

Don't forget to put your cats in the oven after wards!

Oh yes I used my Compressor too. But that powder would attach itself to dirt partials and what the air would not remove I have to wipe.

When I put it all back together I had meant to reapply some new Thermal grease to my CPU. But I didn't have any(of Course:mad:) So I got some today. And I think I may need to lighten the load a little. I applied it and then I just went to a site to see how much should be applied--- I applied to much!:yield: I like to do everything backwards:lol:

Note to hoppy, Misha just pissed on a Celtic Logo:lol:

Your cooling fans will run more smoothly now. Babypowder is made from Talic which is a dry lubricant similar to graphite. Any residue of babypowder left in your computer won't hurt it. Just think now your video, and memory cards will go in and out better too.

Keenan did you wear an anti-static wrist strap when you handled your CPU ?

How did the baby powder get in and on the computer anyway? Were you changing it? This should be an interesting story.

And if anyone makes any jokes I will send Misha to piss on your clothes too:lol:

Ok, After I take a shower I have always used baby powder to ''Powder my ass'' as Bobby said. And living here in the hot south I powder more than that in the summer. I feel i can move around better in my clothes and I feel like a well oiled machine--well Graphite anyway  ok let the quips begin!!!

Don't leave home without it

How did the baby powder get in and on the computer anyway? Don't you know baby powder is redneck slang for coke, he meant to put his cat on top of the P.C and got mixed up, this was the result of it.
