Don't be greedy . Leave one for Reindeer or Dopey as his brothers call him .
Mistake -- I am muddling him as a dwarf.
Oh forget it , he doesn't read this sort of high brow stuff .

You have ruined it for all the nice people .
Anyhow , you got the Pop question wrong .
The tune was taken fron Prokofiev's opera Lieutenant Kije and the specific part is Troika -- Sleigh Ride .
It is now a great Xmas song every year .
You should hunt it down and introduce it to your YRWM co-workers --- it might soften their nature .

I BELIEVE IN FATHER CHRISTMAS

THE SONG

Greg Lake / Peter Sinfield

They said there'll be snow at Christmas

They said there'll be peace on earth

But instead it just kept on raining

A veil of tears for the Virgin birth

I remember one Christmas morning

A winters light and a distant choir

And the peal of a bell and that Christmas tree smell

And their eyes full of tinsel and fire

They sold me a dream of Christmas

They sold me a silent night

And they told me a fairy story

'Till I believed in the Israelite

And I believed in Father Christmas

And I looked to the sky with excited eyes

'Till I woke with a yawn in the first light of dawn

And I saw him and through his disguise

I wish you a hopeful Christmas

I wish you a brave New Year

All anguish pain and sadness

Leave your heart and let your road be clear

They said there'd be snow at Christmas

They said there'd be peace on earth

Hallelujah Noel be it heaven or hell

The Christmas we get we deserve

She was like some greedy teenager trying to highjack all the presents .
Incidentally , I think the Greg Lake version is far better than Bonos
The one thing the Bono version does is prove he cannot sing in tune .
Over here we essentally only hear the original Greg Lake version .
In the Rolling Stone Raimondo Top Xmas Songs Chart , this record hits joint number one with George Michael's Last Christmas and Driving Home to Christmas by Chris Rea .
I felt sure you all wanted to share that information .
Ho , ho , ho .
