1. The typical human being has two legs; the average human being has LESS than two legs.

2. The G8 Countries - seven of the eight countries have a productivity that is below average. The only one above average being USA. This is because of the vast pull upward by the USA which is way above all the others.

I used to think that averages were a useful benchmark, now I am beginning to change my views.

Anybody got any more "oddball" averages? :)
