The GoGabber forums are intended to provide a warm, friendly atmosphere for the GoGabber community. In order to maintain order and a sense of community, all users should read and follow these conditions. By participating in the forum, users are affirming their willingness to comply with these terms. This memorandum has been created to provide you with information about what you can expect here, what is expected of you

GoGabber reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject, refuse to post or remove any posting by any member of the site at any time, for any or no reason, with or without a notice, and without liability.

The rules are general guidelines and are very flexible, as is their enforcement and amendment. Please do not try to cleverly circumvent them. We are not going to spell out the rules in legalese or cover every possible interpretation or situation.

violations may result in a forum posting suspension if non compliance persists. Although we don't like to resort to these measures, if problems persist - we must ensure to the best of our ability, the enjoyment of the forums for our members.

Flaming -do not post messages that are deliberately hostile and insulting. While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Our decision is final in these matters. We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.

Trolling - do not put on a deliberately inflammatory persona in order to provoke a vehement response from other users. Try not to respond to people who do (don't feed the trolls!)

Threadbombing - do not moan 'this thread sucks' here and there. If you do not like the thread, ignore it.

Advertising and spamming is not allowed. This includes using the forum email and Private message system to spam other members. Linking to other sites is fine as long as it is within the context of a discussion; posting a link directly to a resource that answers a question is allowed.

You may not link, in any manner, to sites or images containing pornography, sexually explicit, gross violence, or are determined by moderators to be detrimental to the community.

Links in signatures are fine while they do not violate community standards.

Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.

Do not use ONLY CAPITALS when posting.

Translit - there is an option to convert translit into Russian, please, use it when posting. This is not an infraction, just a suggestion.

Do not post other people personal details, including contact info and/or photos without their consent

The Freedom of Speech argument is considered invalid here, because this is a private website. Like any other private house you enter, you agree to follow the rules or step out.

**** Using GoGabber to recruit GoGabber members to a competing website will result in a permanent life time ban. There is no recourse or discussion allowed.

Banning - we reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules, as access to this site is a privilege and not a right.
While banning is done infrequently, and normally only after repeated offenses or an expression of unwillingness to follow the rules, it is irrevocable. If you try to circumvent a ban, we may take further action.

All posting in GoGabber is copyrighted and the sole proprietary of the owner(s) of GoGabber. No post, personal photo or any original written material on GoGabber.com may be used without written permission from GoGabber.com

do not post on behalf of a banned or removed member, you may also be banned without notice or warning.

public protests and demonstrations on behalf of banned members are not allowed in Forum.

Your account is yours alone. You may not share your account login with anyone. If you choose to ignore this restriction, your account will be disabled.

Moderators

Moderators exist to help keep the forum safe, sane, and secure and active. Moderators have the power to edit posts, delete posts or move threads. It is the sole discretion of moderators to decide the location of moved threads. They also have the power to give out a warning. The main purpose of a Moderator is to help steer the general content towards a healthy learning experience and to keep the Admin aware of any problems. Moderators also contribute heavily to improvements and suggestions regarding the board and forums. We value our Moderators highly, and could not do our job without them. Please treat them with respect.

* Do not post or start a thread complaining about moderation.
* Do not post correspondence you receive from moderators or admins and do not share it with other members.
* Do not repost the same material, offensive post, complain about the action, or restart an argument after it has been removed or locked.
* Do not post warnings or request to yourself in 'moderator's style'.

Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
